A month of festivities, parades, races and competitions among the eight Contrade del Palio di Ferrara to win the precious banner dedicated to St. George, the patron saint of Ferrara. Hundreds of figures in original costumes give life to the evocative Historical Procession, and the acrobatic contests of the flag-wavers in the Piazza del Municipio accompany us to the spectacular horse race in Piazza Ariostea.
