Comfort Festival, a format devised by Barley Arts, produced by the Fondazione Teatro Comunale di Ferrara and sponsored by the Municipality of Ferrara during its first edition in 2021 was located within a portion of Ferrara's G. Bassani Urban Park with two stages, two days of live music, various possibilities for the audience to sit on chairs, relaxation areas or on the lawn, different solutions for maintaining social distancing.

In 2023 it was hosted by the Ferrara Summer Festival in Piazza Trento e Trieste.

In 2024, the selected venue was the Ferrara Darsena, where international bands took turns from early afternoon while the audience could enjoy different areas immersed in the setting of the new Ferrara Darsena.
