Videomapping at Palazzo dei Diamanti | Ferrara 2023

The Municipality of Ferrara and “Ferrara Tua Spa” in collaboration with Ferrara Arte, Fondazione Estense and Unife, from Friday, March 3 to Sunday, March 5, 2023, from dusk until midnight, projected the videomapping show “The Light of the Diamond” on the facades of the Rossettiano building of Palazzo dei Diamanti.

Andrea Bernabini and Sara Caliumi, the visual artists who signed the work, tell of a particularly powerful light show that made the ashlar composed of more than 8,000 diamond-pointed geometries come to life.

Six video projectors were used (and installed on the two fronting palaces Prosperi-Sacrati and Turchi di Bagno), to realize the show inspired by the exhibition "Renaissance in Ferrara. Ercole de' Roberti and Lorenzo Costa", which inaugurates the new Palazzo dei Diamanti complex after renovations.
