Ex-Astris. The stars of Schifanoia color the Castle | Ferrara 2021

Event proposed to Ferrara citizens and tourists, made possible thanks to the safety protocols and compliance with the anti-covid containment measures adopted.

Project wanted by the Municipal Administration and organized by the Estense Foundation, with the patronage of the Emilia-Romagna Region and the contribution of several private sponsors.

Designed by the artist A. Bernabini – already the author of The Golden Heart projected in 2020 on the façade of Ferrara Cathedral – it has the south façade of the Estense Castle as its backdrop and the Salone dei Mesi of Palazzo Schifanoia as its theme.

A dialogue that ideally connects the two monuments of the city and a tribute to the Schifanoia Museum, reopened after almost ten years of forced closure caused by the earthquake.
